Ambulance

Today, I happened to follow an ambulance speeding on the highway to their destination which I don’t know where they are heading at all.

After about 4 to 5 kilometres drive behind the ambulance, we reach a TOLL BOOTH. To my surprise, the ambulance car go towards the “CASH” payment toll booths which have a lot of cars lined up to pay cash to go through the toll. For me, I have my SMARTAG with TouchnGo access and went through the toll without any stopping at all.

The ambulance car was stucked behind other cars to go through the toll to continue their destination.

I was wondering at that time, HOW MUCH TIME they have LOST to save a life? They stuck in the jam while on Emergency call. The ambulance driver should use the fastest way to go through the toll booth to continue with their Emergency destination. And the fastest way there is to use SMARTAG or at least a TouchnGo card that will save time for them to line up behind other cars.

So, why don’t they use SMARTAG or TouchnGo?

Which one is more important? Save Cost or Save Life?

Is it because the ambulance driver will mis-use the SMARTAG TouchnGo card if they are having it?

My opinion is that all ambulance drivers should at least holding a TouchnGo card so that they can use it for Emergency purpose. If there is a possibility that the driver mis-use it for their own used, they can be checked and should tally the accessing of the amount deducted while using the TouchnGo card with their Emergency Destination time while on duty. With that, it will not make them mis-using it and also SAVE a LIFE.

Unless, the ambulance driver purposely switch on the ambulance’s Emergency Silent in a NO Emergency situation just to get to their destination without any other driver blocking them. It is CHEATING and I believe some ambulance drivers did that.

US Share Market Investment

One of the business investment that you can plan for is to invest into US Share Market. Nowadays, there are a lot of Online trading platforms that you can register to and make money out of it.
This online investment platform can be a new business to you. You can treat it like a business where you invest some US stocks and hope that it will give better returns from those stocks.
You can make money when a stock goes up, which mean you BUY the stock and when the stock go higher than the BUYING PRICE that you have bought, then you can SELL the stock and thus you can earn some profit from it. With this strategy, you have to make sure the stocks that you have bought MUST go up in their stock price.
However, you can also make money when a stock goes DOWN, which means that you SELL the stock first by borrow it from the broker and when the stock go down below the SELLING PRICE that you have sold, then you can BUY back the stock and thus you also can earn some profit from it. With this strategy, you have to make sure the stocks that you have sold MUST go down in their stock price.
If you buy a stock, there is UNLIMITED profit and LIMITED risk but if you sell a stock, there is UNLIMITED risk and LIMITED profit.
Do you think you can start a Share Market Investment business?
Yes, you can BUT the most important is that YOU MUST learn and be EDUCATED to know how to conduct this business efficiently in order to have PROFITS instead of LOSSES.
There are many many seminars, workshops and training programs that you can attend to learn how to win US share market and make more money.
But the one that I am recommending is the Pattern Trader Workshop by Conrad Alvin Lim and the other is the Wealth Academy Investor seminar by Adam Khoo.
If you want to find out more of these workshop and seminar, please write to me at victor@victorwan.com.

Thank you for your attention.

The first week of the new English Premier League season 2010/2011 is already over. It seems that there are more exciting results on the first week already.

The Champion Chelsea started off with a HUGE BANG with a 6-0 win over newly promoted West Bromwich Albion. I thought they may be struggling at the beginning of the season due to their off-form pre-season matches recently. It seems that they are actually saving their energy during their friendly matches including their Charity Shield match again Manchester United but made a big differences and impact in the way they played on the first competition match. So, don’t be fool by their previous slum performance.

Manchester United needed their veteran players to turn things around to win their first match. Rooney may still not yet recover from his bad World Cup experience but I hope he could improve gradually to be the top scorer again for the club this season. I hope Berbatov will gain back his form that he had from his previous club to do well this season. He may not did well last season but if he still wanted to stay at Manchester United, he MUST do well now and he did score this first goal for the club for this season.  Manchester United will have more choices for striker this time and hopefully my favourite player Michael Owen will play again and make a big success to regain the Premiership title.

The big spender Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur will challenge the great big FOUR of the Premiership but they ended up without any impact at all. Let’s see how they perform in their next matches and if they still do not make a big impact, I think they will still be OUT of the big FOUR teams.

Liverpool is still struggling from my point of view. New manager and some new players BUT I am glad that their previous manager Rafa Benitez is GONE now. No point keeping him since what he can do is just talking only. The Champion League that he won on his first season for Liverpool was NOT actually his team but the team picked from the Liverpool manager BEFORE him. Let’s see if he can be success in Inter Milan.

Arsenal is using his young players like what Sir Alex Ferguson did. No need to spend so much like Manchester City and Chelsea but to develop young players to be CHAMPIONSHIP materials. But Arsenal 1-1 draw with Liverpool leave Arsene Wenger to restructure his team especially the goalkeeper. Can Mark Schwarz change their style? Let’s see IF he joins Arsenal from Fulham.

The biggest surprise is Blackpool. Normally there will be one newly promoted team to do well at the beginning of the season. YES, only at the beginning of the season and NOW it is still at the beginning of the season. How Blackpool perform later and will still be in Premiership, we will see. But I guess this season Wigan will be demoted. However, the ball is round, anything can happen. Even Chelsea can be demoted if suddenly they lost all their matches.

This is just the first week. The coming week will see who can maintain their form or improve further. This is going to be another great English Premier League season.

So, which team do you think will win the English Premier League 2010/2011?

It may still be early BUT let’s vote and see how many of you will be CORRECT at the end of the season.

Please cast your vote below. Select the TEAM that you think will WIN and click ”SUBMIT SURVEY” button.

Which team do you think will be the CHAMPION of the English Premier League 2010/2011?

Thanks.

England team and FIFA fair play

After a few weeks busy staring at my 42” High Definition Television for the World Cup 2010 football matches in HD format, it is getting more interesting now on the quarterfinal matches. But one missing team that was supposed to be the winner of the World Cup 2010 as what everyone expecting is ENGLAND !!!

In my opinion, I thought that the current England team really does not deserve to win the World Cup. It seems like they were not a great team with strategy and tactics playing that can go all the way to the final match. First, they lacked a good potential experience goalkeeper that can help block every shoots from everyone shooting at their goal. I agreed with Oliver Kahn of Germany that he said England does not have an experience goalkeeper to choose from especially from the English Premier League because most of the best goalkeepers playing in the English Premier League are all from other countries such as Van der Sar of Manchester United, Petr Cech of Chelsea, Almunia of Arsenal etc. What they have are like David James of Portsmouth, Robert Green of West Ham which their clubs are always at the bottom of the league table. So, where can they get an experience goalkeeper for the country?

Secondly, from the match that I saw when England was playing Germany, it seemed that England’s defenders were not defending enough on their area. From the way the goals scored by Germany, most of their scorers were not marked at all by any of the England defenders or whoever that supposed to mark them. The Germany scorers were freely to receive the balls and just shot in as they wished. Was it because Rio Ferdinand was not playing and that’s was the reason they lacked on defending? I doubt it.

Thirdly, on the striker front, I still do not understand why Capello chose to play Heskey most of the time. If Heskey was not functioning well, he should have change to Defoe and what he did later or give to other such as Crouch to play. Well, that was his strategy. I am not a football coach, I might be wrong but at least everyone has a chance to voice out what they think about the current England World Cup 2010 team.

Lastly, if Lampard’s disallowed goal against Germany was allowed, will they make any difference if the score was in 2-2 draw again? Will England able to come back when they tied the score during the second half? What I can say is that it was really a fantastic goal that was not allowed to stand. It was clearly a goal from all the angles of the camera when we saw it on television, but alas, the decision was still in the referees’ hands. As according to the FIFA rules if there is, the referees will have the final decision on the matches and no appeal will be entertained at all. But what if it is really a bad decision call by the referees and they have robbed the chances to the team that still have a chance to win, can they go on to apply for a court decision to reverse the referees’ decision with all the enough proofs taken? Let’s hope that FIFA will make a change quickly to put in additional linesmen on the goal lines or other methods for a fair decision making for the outcome of a “FAIR PLAY” match as what FIFA always wanted. You want to have a “FAIR PLAY”, you also need to be FAIR from their referees’ decisions.

Anyone has any other comment or suggestion, please post it here. Let’s have an exciting final match of the World Cup 2010 and may the best team wins.

Thanks.
