Economy Crisis? I am wondering….
When I looked around the environment surrounding me, the places I have been, shopping centres, residential areas or even on the road, there is one thing I noticed that everyone could be fooling around each other, and that is the economy crisis.
1. Is there really an economy crisis? I am just wondering.
2. You see, when I looked around, I saw a lot of people still able to renovate their houses. Not just a minor renovation but a major renovation as well. Completely changing the structure and design of the houses. Are these people too rich and not border about the economy crisis that has been hitting everyone that talking about it?
3. When I was on the road, I saw many cars still moving around and the cars are not just small and ordinary cars but big, huge, expensive and new latest cars as well. From what I know, the new cars are not cheap and could be more than RM150,000 even though some still can afford for cars that are priced around RM100,000. So, for those driving those new expensive cars, are they really too rich that they can afford to buy a car that only bring you from one place to another and nothing much can be done?
4. When I was at the shopping centres, I still saw many people crowded everywhere inside doing shopping or maybe just window shopping. Maybe there are many people at the shopping centres due to no other places to go and still can afford to walk around and look around of merchandises and feel the cool air-con. Yes, just walk and look around like browsing and not buying at all which is window shopping. But with the big SALES season now in Malaysia, I guess many people will be spending again with lots of discount but for me, there is no discount at all. You still have to spend spend spend and seems that nobody is affected by the so-called “Economy Crisis”.
5. So, in the end, is there an economy crisis now? I am still wondering.
Thank you.

Hey….glad you wrote about this issue. Overhere, in Crewe, more shops is closing down and news still reports jopb cut and losses. As far as I know, this economy crisis has badly impacted Subway. Sales has gone down to about 30 to 50%. Natwest Bank won’t approve any loan for Subway’s franchisee. Besides, uni’s project has to put on hold. However, for those businesses whose target market is medium to low range or niche market such as teenagers still survive and in fact profit reported.
Have good day!!!
Are you referring to Malaysia or other countries?
Well, I am referring to Malaysia.
Maybe you can tell us the situation in Australia there.
Thanks.
